CASA RAIZ | LOMAS · MEXICO

This Mexican home has been transformed with a deep respect for its architecture and the surrounding landscape, an integral part of the experience of living there. With a volcano as its backdrop, the renovation seeks to establish a dialogue between indoors and outdoors, between materiality and the horizon.

The original wooden beams have been preserved as a reminder of the home’s history, while a new palette of linen, stone, wood and earthy tones brings a sense of calm and sophistication.
